It is our great pleasure to formally introduce to you our new President, Greg Doran. Here at Ticket Evolution, we believe above all else that the people on our team will be the driving force behind our success and that of our partners. Greg brings 15 years of experience in sports and technology to the Ticket Evolution team having spent time at pioneering companies including Linkshare and MLB Advanced Media (MLB.com). We feel as you come to know Greg you will agree that he is the perfect person to lead Ticket Evolution into the future. Both Ram and Greg have written letters addressing the exciting addition.

Dear Broker Community,

Being that it was a Presidential election year, I’m happy to announce that my position of President has been relinquished to our new President, Greg Doran (more on Greg Doran later in this Evolver). Just to be clear, I was not voted out of office, but instead I am stepping down to make way for someone whose only job is Ticket Evolution.  As Ticket Evolution has flourished over the past 2 ½ years, the time demands have become such that trying to run two companies has become nearly impossible.

To be 100% clear, while my role will be changing, my complete dedication to Ticket Evolution will not.  I will continue to serve on the board and will continue to be deeply involved in all things, specifically customer support, broker relations and of course driving our products forward.  My phone will continue to be open to all brokers to discuss things related to Ticket Evolution both good and bad. I have never been afraid to address the challenges we have encountered, and I’m always pleased to share with our team when we have been praised by you.  Please continue to stay involved.

I love this company!  I love the support you have shown us. I love what this company means to the secondary ticket market, and I hope those brokers who are on Ticket Evolution will continue to see the importance of this company as it relates to our competition.  I want to encourage all the brokers who are not on Ticket Evolution to take a look at what we are doing for the broker community and how you can benefit from using our services.

Dear Broker Community,

It’s a pleasure to introduce myself, and I am extremely excited to be joining the team here at Ticket Evolution.  I am looking forward to joining such a dedicated group and to have this great opportunity to bring my experience to the secondary ticket industry.

A little bit about me:
Before Ticket Evolution, I had the privilege of working at two extremely successful technology companies.  At Linkshare, a pioneer of the affiliate marketing industry, I was able to cut my teeth in building and supporting a massive transactional backbone that drove incredible results for some of the top e-commerce brands in the world.  Aside from the technical skills learned, being there during the early days, I had an inside look into how a great startup management team executes.

After 5 years at Linkshare, I moved on to MLB Advanced Media (MLB.com) where I spent 6 phenomenal years.  At MLBAM, I founded and oversaw a large team focused on CRM, Business and Fan Intelligence Systems and various forms of digital marketing including email and search.  My time there was split between reporting directly to the CTO and then the CFO allowing me to learn so much from multiple sides of the business.  Of course, at MLBAM I got my first introduction to the growing secondary ticketing industry.

I have spent the last two years on the entrepreneurial path founding and then folding a startup of my own.  No lessons learned before rise above the education that comes with that.

I was attracted to Ticket Evolution for many reasons but first and foremost because of the passion of Steve, Ram and Drew.  It’s a passion not to better themselves but the industry.  It’s my privilege to join them, the entire Ticket Evolution team and all of our investors to do just that.
